The Theory of Everything is the biographical movie based on the life of Stephens Hawkins, who gave us the theory of black holes. Movie released on September 7 2014 and did a business of around $121 million, however the budget of the movie was around $15 million.
Director, James Marsh directed the movie and the star casts are Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Charlie Cox, Emily Watson, Simon McBurney, and David Thewlis. This movie received 10 nominations in British Academy Film Awards including Outstanding British Film, Best Leading Actor (for Redmayne) and Best Adapted Screenplay (for McCarten), which they won.
Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) studies in Cambridge University when he begins relationship with literature student Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones). Meanwhile, He and his professor Dennis Sciama (David Thewlis) go for attending a lecture on Black Holes. After the lecture, Stephens thinks that the black holes may have been part of the creation of the universe and hence he decides to write a thesis on the topic.
During the ongoing research, his body’s muscles start to fail, causing him unable to stand and move properly. He eventually falls on the wheelchair as his body becomes unable to keep him up. The movie shows the complete struggle of his life.
